Croom Family Resource Center Staff information
The Croom FRC offers both universal and targeted services to residents of Croom, Ballingarry, and surrounding areas:
- Family Support: Includes one-to-one parenting support, parenting programs (e.g., Parents Plus), baby massage, and mindfulness for parents.
- Clever Clogs Childcare: Provides a Breakfast Club, Preschool (ECCE), and Afterschools Club with holiday camp provisions.
- Therapeutic Supports: Low-cost Psychotherapy for adults and Play Therapy for children.
- Community Support: Operates a Meals on Wheels service (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and hosts coffee mornings, community BBQs, and trips for older people.
- Learning & Education: Offers QQI-accredited courses (Healthcare, Retail Skills) and community education in areas like photography, fitness, and woodwork.
- Food Poverty Programme: Practical assistance and drop-in advice for those in need.
