Childcare Staff

Karen has worked in Childcare for the past 17 years and joined Croom FRC’s Childcare service in 2010, where she now works as the Manager. She completed her degree in Early Childhood Education & Care in 2022 and is qualified as an Inclusion Coordinator. In her role as Manager, Karen is responsible for maintaining all quality standards and compliance as regulated by the relevant childcare statutory agencies. She is responsible for planning, organising, implementing and controlling the necessary resources to ensure that all services run effectively, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Under her management, Croom FRC’s Childcare service has grown from a preschool only service to a breakfast club, preschool and afterschool service, with the hopes of expanding even further.
