Funding:

Croom Family Resource Centre receives core funding from TUSLA, the Child and Family Agency. This funding offsets the salaries of a Manager, Senior Administrator and Family Support Worker.

Our childcare staffing and services are funded via Childcare schemes Child Care – Croom FRC

Any other activities and costs are sourced from various sources by staff and volunteers.  For example to date, we have been successful in accessing funding to offset the salaries of a part-time Clinical Lead and part-time Play Therapist and Psychotherapist through TUSLA Therapeutic Supports – Croom FRC.

Small grants via the HSE, LCETB, Limerick City and County Council and others support various work areas. E.g. the HSE Older Persons Services provides funding towards the running costs of our weekly Chair Yoga programme. Many of our programmes are possible due to applying to Philanthropical initiatives. All successful funding applications are expended according to the agreed and defined requirements of the funder.

Some of our services and programmes are funded or subsidised via a nominal participant fee or participant donation. Fees or donations fund costs such as tutor fees and / or overheads (light, heat, refreshments, insurance etc). For more information on our fees policy for Therapy Services and Childcare please contact us on info@croomfrc.com

As a charity we are very conscious of accountability and transparency in our work. We regularly review and update our financial protocols.

Please see Publications – Croom FRC for our latest audited accounts.
